I’m in the last couple weeks of my pregnancy and for me pregnancy usually means I deal with depression. I deal with it while I’m pregnant. I deal with it in postpartum. I deal with it if I have a miscarriage.
In this, I’ve found three things that help me get a grip on it and get my feet back on solid ground to move forward a little bit. That’s what I want to share with you.
Before I go into these, if you are feeling depressed and you’re questioning your value – go talk to someone. I know in the depths of depression it’s really easy to tell yourself no one cares – that’s the depression talking. Get an appointment with a doctor and move from there.
If you are feeling suicidal and you need to talk to someone immediately – please call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline. 1-800-273-8255
